After 1-2 days of the surgery, the surgeon will examine the wound and remove the drain including other bandages and dress the wound. After that, the doctor may give you the instructions to take care the wound at home. The stitches will be removed after 7-10 days. The swelling and bruises usually disappear within 2-3 weeks and your new look will be apparent after one month.
